A strip mall in Brooklyn Center is getting new life Saturday with the grand reopening of the Shingle Creek Center.

The mall has 18 spaces, all of which contain businesses owned by BIPOC individuals. There was also a celebration with a multicultural fair on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Brooklyn Center.
